Martha Ann Stiles (Spizzica) of Newport News, Virginia, age 75, sadly passed away on May 2, 2022.

Born and raised in Millville, New Jersey, she was predeceased by her high school sweetheart and beloved husband of 39 years, Carl Stiles, Jr., a 26-year Air Force veteran. Throughout his years of service, they were stationed in New Jersey, South Carolina, the Azores (Portugal), Anchorage, Alaska and Newport News, Virginia, where Carl along with his family finished his Air Force career.

Martha was a loving mother to Lisa Douglas (Stiles) of Virginia, Steven Stiles of Washington and Michael Stiles of Virginia. She was a devoted grandmother to three grandchildren, James Douglas, Danielle Douglas, and Kyle Douglas.

She was predeceased by her parents Martha Ann Spizzica (Bolster) and Peter J. Spizzica of Millville, NJ. She is survived by four sisters; Patricia Cheeseman (Spizzica), Sandra Vastardis (Spizzica), Annette Wentzel (Spizzica), and Jacqueline Spizzica, all of Millville, and a sister-in-law, Melanie Vogue (Stiles), nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers, and friends.

Martha was a private person who enjoyed many hobbies including: collecting Star Trek and other memorabilia, investigating family genealogy, crafting, planting potted flowers, completing crossword puzzles, and watching TV shows and movies.

She spent many years working in various positions at Busch Gardens Williamsburg Amusement Park in Williamsburg, Virginia which she greatly enjoyed. Martha developed close friendships with her coworkers.

A memorial service will be held Saturday July 9, 2022, at 1:00 P.M, at Bethel Park Family Camp in Hampton, Virginia.

Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News assisted the family with arrangements.
