Mary Lee Meeks, 81, of Virginia Beach, passed away peacefully in her home Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William Roger Meeks, Sr. She is survived by her sister, Ellis Ann Sasser and husband Wally Kitsteiner; daughter, Sherri Lee; daughter Cristi Felter-Goins and husband Trevor Goins; son, Will Meeks; grandchildren, Celia Felter, Calie Felter, Rachel Lee, Haley Goins, Nate Goins and wife Clayborne; and great-grandchild, Greyson Goins.

Born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, Mary was a graduate of Norview High School and a career employee of the US Postal Service, retiring in 2009.

Devoted to her family, Mary was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was very sociable, enjoying visits with family in the Carolinas and hosting family celebrations in her home.

Mary loved the Lord Jesus with her whole being. This love was expressed through her selfless care and prayer for her family, as well as her fellow believers, and the church. Like her Lord, she desired “all men to be saved and come to the full knowledge of the truth.” (1 Tim.2:4)
