Portsmouth, VA – Mary Louise Lott, 92, died Friday, March 21, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mary was born in South Carolina on June 20, 1932 and was a housekeeper at Rochester Hospital in Pennsylvania.  She loved and enjoyed watching Sanford and Son with her son, Lawrence ALL the time and was a Baptist.

She leaves to cherish her memories with, devoted, loving and caring son, Lawrence Lott and his devoted and caring wife, Theresa Lott who cared for Mary until she passed away; her other son, Douglas Johnson; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews. cousins, family and friends; to include beloved cousins, Ruby Hines and Ronnie Boler; and Theresa’s devoted sister, Lythia Randall and sister, Diane Parks who have been so supportive during this difficult time.

The family would like to thank Priority Care and Interim Healthcare Hospice for their constant devotion and assistance.  Special thanks and appreciation go out to her dedicated and caring personal aids, Joann Marsh and Tracey Goodman.  Your care of Mary meant so much to us.
