Portsmouth, VA  –  Mary Lynn Bunting, born on September 8, 1942, in New York, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia, at the age of 83. She was a devoted wife, loving family member, and cherished friend.

Mary dedicated her professional life to caring for others as an LPN in the medical field, where her compassion and commitment touched the lives of many. Her deep love for her family and faith were central to her life, guiding her actions and bringing joy to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert Jack Maxwell and Mary Steffa Kusnir Maxwell. Mary is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Earl Bunting, Jr. who stayed by her side, along with additional family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
