Mary Frances Regan (nee Doherty), of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and formerly of Rocky Hill, New Jersey, passed away at her home as the result of natural causes surrounded by her loving children on Friday, December 18, 2020.

Born September 17, 1927, in Charlestown, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of John and Mary Doherty and the sister of Sarah, Thomas, John, Elizabeth, Kathleen, Hugh, and Theresa. She graduated from Girls’ High School of Charlestown and worked for several years as a switchboard operator for AT&T.

For 62 years she was the beloved wife of John V. Regan, who preceded her in death and the devoted mother of eight children, John, Thomas, Joseph, Mary, Edward, James, Kathleen, and Maureen. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren.

Always loving, cheerful and supportive, her family and friends will miss her greatly.
