Mary Sprouse, 95, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 in Chesapeake, Virginia. Mary was born on December 31, 1925 to Albert Miller and Minnie Stutsman. She was at home surrounded by family at the time of her passing.
Mary was full of life and loved to do things to help others. She enjoyed painting and listening to her oldies music to which she could often be heard singing at the top of her lungs. She was the center of attention in any room that she was in and was known for saying things to get your attention. Mary had the most unique ways of making people around her laugh or shake their head and smile. She was fun and full of mischief and loved to be around and play with children.
Mary is predeceased by her son Clifton Bernard for which we expect the most joyful of reunions in heaven. Left on earth to cherish her memory are her children Linda Hewitt, Phyllis Bergeron, and Ivan Sprouse; grandchildren Laura Bernard Carnrike, Michael Bernard, Pam Stout, Debra Stout, Tina Owens, Robert Fontaine, John Bergeron, Theresa Wetherington, Brittany Demasi, Lindsay May, Carolynn May and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
Memorial Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at The Congregational Pentecostal Church, 1514 Sparrow Rd, Chesapeake, Virginia.
