Ferguson, who preceded him in death, and was raised in Newport News. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed fishing. He was employed with Newport News Shipbuilding fire department for over 30 years and was a Swift truck driver for over 15 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachel L. Ferguson; step-father, Nelson Lee Radford; sister, Mary Lee Eide; two brothers, Gary Wayne Burke and John David Burke (Emily Mae Burke) and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Per request there will be no service.
