Michael Glenn Ludwig

In Loving Memory of our husband, and father.

Michael G. Ludwig was born in Topeka Kansas. Upon graduating from Washburn University, Mike served as an officer in the US Air Force. He and his family moved to Virginia Beach in the 70’s where Mike worked as a manager with Diamond Air Compressor. He then started his own company, Atlantic Coast Equipment. After retiring, he worked for Walmart.

Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Velma Ludwig, his father, William E. Ludwig; his brother, William R. Ludwig and his sister, Cindy Ludwig as well as his beloved granddaughter, Reagan Ludwig.

Mike leaves behind a family who loved him dearly; his wife of 54 years, Janice, his oldest son, Ryan (wife, Courtney), his son, Todd (wife, Allyson) and grandson, Ian Ludwig (girlfriend, Caitlin).

Mike loved to laugh, the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, and his dog Ruby. He passed after a long battle with cancer. He was 75 years old. Services are private. Please post your fondest condolences to the family on our website during this difficult time.

My sincere sympathy to Mike's family for losing a fine man Mike pledged Alpha Delta while I was an upper class man. We also worked together in Air Force ROTC. Although I have not seen Mike since college days, I will always remember him as a true gentleman and kind brother. My condolences to the family. Mike and I were great friends at Topeka High. We were officers together in the State FBLA program. Mike was also VP of the National Organization which I helped him campaign for the summer of our Junior year in San Francisco. May the Lord's grace be with you all

Janice and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. Michael was my cousin on my dad's side. I think the last time I saw him was at Aunt Velma's funeral. As kids, we did spent a lot of time together. My heart goes out to all of you for your loss. Please know that I will be praying for all of you.

Mike was my younger cousin. My mother sometimes babysat he and his brother, Bill. There was a 5 1/2 age gap so not close when little. We became friends when older and I will miss the closeness we had even separated by have the nation. he will be greatly missed by many. 💔
