Michele L. Wicker, 59, of Newport News, VA went home to be with the Lord on January 29th, 2023. Michele was the daughter of Larry and Janet Wildasin of Gloucester, VA. Born in Germany, Michele moved all over as a military child. She was a graduate of Denbigh High School (1982). Michele was a Coast Guard Veteran, a devoted nurse for over 3 decades and an Outer Banks beach lover. She greatly enjoyed caring for her residents at Morningside Senior Living of Williamsburg for almost a decade. Her compassion and kindness made her a favorite among the residents.

She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Sr. of Gloucester and her fiancé, David Smith of Newport News. She is survived by her mother, Janet; her two daughters, Stephanie (Chris) and Kimberly (Austin), her 3 grandsons; Waylon, Easton and Willie, her brother Larry (Janet) of Colorado Springs, two nieces; Amy & Amanda, and nephew, Jason and her dear friend Nikki.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at Petsworth Baptist Church on Friday, February 24th at 5:30pm.
