Jennifer Lynn Bialk (61) of Hampton VA, passed away on July 23 2021, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Jennifer was a strong willed and intelligent person, she impacted every person she came in contact with, wearing multiple hats through her life such as: a mother, a teacher, a nurse with a masters degree, and a loved and loving wife.
Jennifer was a healer, as a nurse she had worked at multiple facilities, her favorite being Sentara Careplex in the ICU. There she found a home, working hard with her coworkers, or making them laugh with a joke on a rough day. Jennifer was also a teacher, she was an assistant professor at the Sentara College of Health Sciences. Professor Bialk would not rest until she was sure her students understood the material, she loved her students and would always be sure they were okay, and would help them if it was within her power to do so.
Jennifer was also quite the fan of a good book, a dream of hers was to one day be a writer herself, however she was always thrilled to experience a good story. Mystery stories and Fantasy adventures were her favorite by far.
Jennifer was a brilliant star that shined brightly to anyone who knew her, she was funny, smart, and always fun to be around. She was deeply loved and will never be forgotten, left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Stanley Bialk, and sons James and Jesse Bialk. A celebration of life in her honor will be held on August 8th 2021 at 12pm at Parklawn-wood Funeral Home, at 2551 North Armistead AVE. Hampton, VA 23666.
