My sincere condolences to the Huber and Jolemore family. I’ve been a family friend a long time; Kenny and I hung out and Nancy was the most down to earth person I’ve ever known. She’s right alongside her husband once again. RIP Nancy

Mama Jolemore taught me some of the most important lessons of my life, not with words, but through her actions. During one of the hardest seasons I’ve ever faced, she opened her home to me, put food on the table, and gave me a safe place to land. From her, I learned what true generosity and unconditional love look like. She taught me that kindness doesn’t have to be loud, that humor can heal, and that laughter…especially around a kitchen table in the morning, can carry people through anything. Her one-liner zings were legendary, always perfectly timed, always loving, and never unkind. From her, I learned how to be funny without being cruel, and strong without being harsh. What began as a friendship with Amena and Brian became a second family, and through that, she taught me the meaning of belonging. She showed me that family isn’t just who you’re born to, but who chooses you and loves you as you are. I will always hold Mama Jolemore in my heart with deep gratitude. Thank you for the lessons, the love, and the memories that will stay with me forever. You changed my life in ways I will never forget.

I have so many memories of Nancy through the years. I loved visiting with my brother and Nancy when I was in high school and lived in the area. I got to spend time with them and my beautiful nieces and nephews and that time was filmed with music, laughter and lots of love. Though I hadn’t seen her lately I will always remember her with love. She is with my brother now and so many other loved ones. Sending love and prayers of peace to you all.

Nancy was a lovely person who mothered wonderful children: not the least of which is our dearest family friend Ananda. Her grandchildren also remain a beautiful legacy to her. May she rest peacefully.
