Owen Glen Wolf passed away on November 22, 2025 at the age of 93. He was born on November 7, 1932 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and spent his early youth on the family farm. Later he and his father built their home in Homer City, PA.
In 1951 he joined the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean War. He was onboard the aircraft carrier Wasp the night of the tragic collision with the Hobson on April 26, 1952.
After the Navy, while his father was in the hospital, he met a young nurse who became his wife. The couple spent time in upstate New York where Owen worked on the Niagara Power Project.
Moving back to Eastern Pennsylvania, Owen and Ka settled in Horsham and he made a career in coffee vending. He later served his country again in the Naval Reserves in the late 1970s. He and Ka were most proud to have given their three daughters college educations.
Owen was preceded in death by parents Glen Alan and Eleanor Wolf, his brother Vincent, and his wife Kathryn Ann (Ka) after 50 years of marriage. He is survived by his three daughters Sharyl Wolf, Shelly Skilton (Wayne), and Sherry Vitale, and grandchildren Dino Vitale and Rosalie Vitale.
