I did not leave comment at the time my first cousin Patty Quirk died because I assumed that there would be a more complete death notice in the city where we grew up. It was wonderful to read others confirm what I did know, Patty Quirk made a great difference in the lives of people she touched. Condolences to those who still carry Patty's memory in their hearts. Dear Patty, You were one of my closest friends from Compassionate Friends! I will always cherish your support for the loss of my daughter, Candy, while I tried to support you for the loss of your son, Michael. But now you and Michael are together in Eternal Peace with no more pain! Patty was a lovely, kind and compassionate lady. She helped many of us who had lost children work through our grief. She had always said that we were only a breath away from them. I know she is now with her beloved son, Michael. Our loss is heaven's gain. Eternal rest grant unto Patty , O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Patty and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
