Randall Terrey Long passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 61.

Randy was born to the late Joel and Fern Long on July 15, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Osbourn Park High School in 1979 where he played the trumpet in marching band. He continued to play trumpet throughout his adult life and had a passion for music of all kinds from Handel to Metallica. He enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and fishing, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, carpentry, and reading.

His greatest passion in life was cars. He spent his entire three decade long career in the automobile industry, doing everything from building SCCA Championship Datsun race cars to becoming a Nissan Master Technician. He spent many great weekends at the race track or in the garage with his son tinkering on engines.

Randy is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Colin Long; daughter, Victoria Long; three sisters, Joanne Kress, Susanne Robinson, and Robin Long; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will be missed by many.
