Randy Wayne Coleman, 70, passed away on May 5 th , 2023. Randy was a native of Reno, Nevada. Born to George R. Coleman and Sharon C. Davis, Randy is preceded in death by his parents and brother George II. Randy settled in the Hampton Roads area upon retirement from the United States Navy in 1995. He held patents for designs and processes he invented in various industries. He had a robust life encompassing world travel, military deployments, and several business ventures, but his real passion and drive in life were his seven children, twelve grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
Randy is survived by his sisters; Autumn Garvey, and Ines Bredt, his daughters; Heather Tabron, Kim Grenier, Lisa Coleman, Roberta Coleman, and Sarah Mahar, his sons; Camron Coleman, and Ian Coleman, his grandchildren; Cassandra Tabron, Mason Taborn, Erik Tabron, River Wright, Cheyenne Richey, Angeleah Richey, Faith Coleman, Grace Coleman, Wesley Coleman, Abigale Coleman, Elizabeth Coleman, Bennett Coleman and his great-granddaughter Rhea Tabron.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 15 th , 2023 at 10:00am at Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory at 7415 River Rd. Newport News VA. 23607.
