Richard Phillip Perkins passed away at 3:35pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. He was the most loving father, grandfather and friend. He loved to fish, golf, travel and cook. He always had a good joke to tell and loved to make people laugh.  He worked for Norfolk Naval Shipyard and CDI Marine Company for many years before retiring. His career allowed him to travel all over the world and he loved to share those experiences with anyone that wanted to listen. Phil was predeceased by his son Charles Michael Perkins. Left to be remembered and missed by his son John David Perkins, his wife Rae and their three children Tony, Andie & Alec, his daughter Mary Nicolette Wood, her husband Daniel and their daughters Hannah & Kenley, his son Richard Phillip Perkins II, his wife Tabitha and Michael’s children David Austin & Ivy. At his request there will be no service.
