Jonathan, it's been a few months since you're Dad's passing, & I still can't believe he's gone. I can't drive by his street and not look down to make sure both vehicles are there, & I always smile. Your Dad was such a sweet man, and such an inspiration to so many. I think of him everyday, & smile. Sharon

Richard was a close friend and a part of our family. He shared many of our family celebrations and holidays. Our grandchildren thought of him as another granddad. He joined us every Friday for dinner whether we went out to a restaurant or had a pizza at home. He had an open invitation and often joined us for home cooked meals on other days too. Like clockwork he would call us at 4 o’clock everyday just to say hi and chat for a bit. He was ever optimistic, ready to laugh or tell a joke to make others laugh. We will miss you dear friend. Rest in Peace.

As a single father, Richard reared an extraordinary son. Our family has been fortunate to have Jonathan become a member of ours upon his marriage to our daughter, Amy. We will be forever thankful for his gift to us. I.C. and Carla Smith

We’ll all miss Richard. I will forever remember seeing Jonathan ski between his dad’s legs while we were at Arapahoe Basin. What a fun guy! And quite a stunt for two grown men.
