Robert D. Roberts laid down his pain racked human body this weekend and joined his younger brother, Shawn Roberts, in the care of their Savior, Jesus Christ. He passed in Virginia Beach, Virginia with his beloved companion, Lilly the min pin at his side. He was the oldest son of Sharon and Robert L. Roberts.
He is survived by his dearly loved daughter, Kira, his parents, his nephew, Dylan and niece, Shyann, his Uncle, David Constable and his aunt, Anna Constable, his best friend, John Black as well as an extended family from Virginia, Florida, Arkansas, California, New York and Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Rob’s memory by taking time to be with your loved ones and friends. Mend fences and broken hearts. Apologize where necessary and tell the people that you love that you love them. Be a Blessing to those around you, be kind and as Rasta Rob, the Green General would say to you, “Have a Blessed day.”
A celebration of his life will be held at a time and place to be announced.
Please leave a memory or word of condolence for the family.
