He passed in Virginia Beach, Virginia with his beloved companion, Lilly the min pin at his side. He was the oldest son of Sharon and Robert L. Roberts.
He is survived by his dearly loved daughter, Kira, his parents, his nephew, Dylan and niece, Shyann, his Uncle, David Constable and his aunt, Anna Constable, his best friend, John Black as well as an extended family from Virginia, Florida, Arkansas, California, New York and Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Rob’s memory by taking time to be with your loved ones and friends. Mend fences and broken hearts. Apologize where necessary and tell the people that you love that you love them. Be a Blessing to those around you, be kind and as Rasta Rob, the Green General would say to you, “Have a Blessed day.”
A celebration of his life will be held at a time and place to be announced.

I am so sorry to hear about this incredibly tough loss. I knew Rob for a few years through online gaming and he instantly became a close friend. Everyone he has knew or spoken to, was always so touched by his loving words and incredible sense of humor. I met Rob while playing online during college. He always was encouraging especially when it got tough at times. He always had an interesting story or a different way of looking at events that could turn the day around for the better. My friends and I bonded over the stories he shared with my personal favorite being Rob following the Grateful Dead on tour. Through his stories I learned he liked surfing and the next time the Billabong Surf Competition was in town I made sure to go get some shirts and mail them to him. He never asked for them, he was always giving but I just wanted to repay the positivity he brought to me. Our group will miss you dearly Rob but we take comfort knowing you're no longer in pain. My friends and I met Rob while playing online on PS4 and he quickly became a staple to our group for a long time. We used to sit up and swap stories with him and just have a great time together. He was like our crazy uncle of sorts and we loved him dearly. We only found out about his passing today and we are heartbroken. My condolences to his family. I know he loved his family and his daughter especially. He talked about them quite a bit during our conversations online. We never met in person but he made a huge impact in our lives and we miss him dearly. RIP Rasta Rob The Green General. We love you man.

We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved son Rob. No words can ever fully express the hurt in our hearts for your family. We didn’t spend a lot of time with him. However, we knew he loved his family, and adored his little dog. He was an EXCEPTIONALLY talented gardener. We saw many of the vegetables he grew. He would only allow one brand of dirt in his gardens. His mom stopped by our house once and her van was filled with it. The effort was worth it. Many delicious meals were shared.

I was definitely blessed to have met and known Rob, although for a short period of time! I met Rob shortly after he moved into my neighborhood last October while walking my dog, Duke. We would stop and talk with him 3 or 4 times a week if we saw him outside and he always welcomed us with "Hey Duke"!
Rob was always happy and loved life even with all of his health issues and we will miss him.
