Robert Eugene Glancy, 62 Robert Glancy passed a way at his home, January 16, 2019, peacefully surrounded by his family after losing his battle with cancer, at the age of 62. Robert is survived by his loving wife Cathy of 20 years and their dog Bailey. They were married in Virginia on November 29, 2003.

Robert is also survived by his daughter Megan Glancy and her children Kobe, Jaxin, and Benjamin Montenegro, his daughter Tricia Glancy-Bell and her husband Lynnelle Bell and their children Madelynn, Brooklynn, and LJ Bell, and his daughter Christine Glancy all of New Jersey. Robert is also survived by his stepdaughter Erin and Joe McClaskey their children Morgan and Evan McClaskey, Amanda and her husband Alex Eiben and their children Mackenzie and Colton Eiben, of Virginia. His stepson Zachary and his wife Kelli Bissell and their children Ethan, Leighton, and Austyn of Florida. He is also lovingly survived by his mother Marie Glancy of NJ, his sister Joanne and Jim Decker of NJ, and his brother Eugene Glancy of Florida. As well as his niece and nephews Toni Setteduc.to of California, Nick Setteduc.to and fiancé Amy Brennan of New Zealand, and PJ Reddan of NJ. Robert is preceded in death by his father Eugene Glancy.

Robert has been a valued employee of the LCE-Life Engineering team since June 1, 2009. Robert has had more than 30 years of maintenance and reliability experience. Prior Robert worked with Banks Rigging Corporation of Virginia, where he held a variety of roles in the field.

In lieu of services or a wake, a celebration of life has been planned for Robert on January 26, 2019, at 2pm, at the residence of longtime great friends Richard and Cindy Ray. 913 Brasileno Court, Virginia Beach, Virginia.
