Robert was a dedicated and respected metallurgist whose career was marked by a profound understanding of metals and their properties. His contributions to the field were well-regarded and he carried out his work with both passion and precision. Beyond his professional life, Bob had a rich array of interests that he pursued with enthusiasm, from golf to skiing to camping with friends and family. Also, in his earlier years, he got his love of sailing from his father, an avid sailor. He found solace and adventure on the open waters with close friends.
From kid to an adult, he enjoyed coin and stamp collecting, this was well known among those close to him. He took great pride in his carefully curated collections. Additionally in his later years, Bob was a devoted admirer of classic cinema, amassing a collection of over 100 old movies including many old comedies that he enjoyed thoroughly on his laser disc player.
Robert graduated from University of Cincinnati with A Bachelor’s Degree in Quantitative Analysis and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Management, demonstrating his lifelong commitment to learning and analytical thinking. Bob was known for his quick wit and following up with a full body chuckle. The ridiculous moments that make life worthwhile and a little more lively and definitely more fun were because of him! He had many nicknames due to his humor from many who loved him.
A celebration of life to be held at a later date in Ohio.
