Rod McCormack, 75, passed away October 19, 2010 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He graduated from Maury High School in 1953, Virginia Military Institute class of 1957 and served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a civil engineer with Army Corps of Engineers for thirty years.
Rod is survived by his wife, Lucy; daughter Kari, son in law Phil; and grandchildren Rachel, Brandon and Shane Carter.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, 11:00am at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, where Rod was a forty year member. Everyones welcome. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Emmanuel Church at 5181 Princess Anne Rd. Virginia Beach, VA 23462-4229.
