Roger was a dedicated and accomplished professional, having served as a Manufacturing Executive at both Burlington and Mohawk Industries before enjoying a well-deserved retirement. His career was marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for leadership.A man of varied interests, Roger was a licensed pilot who found great joy in flying his cherished Beechcraft Bonanza. He was also an avid golfer, delighting in rounds with his grandchildren and friends, and he treasured the opportunity to play at the renowned St. Andrews Old Course in Scotland. Roger and his beloved wife, Dianne, shared countless adventures driving across the country to visit family and friends in Arkansas and British Columbia, Canada. A devoted fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, Roger’s enthusiasm for his alma mater was unwavering.
Roger pursued higher education at the University of Arkansas Monticello, where he was a proud member of Phi Lambda Chi and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary (Robbins) Miller; his loving wife, Dianne; his sister, Betty Jean; and his brothers, Billy, Johnny “Bobby,” and Sammy.
He is survived by his brother, Elbert (Rose) Miller; his sons, Christopher (Julie Wellbrock) and Todd (Dannielle) Wellbrock; his granddaughters, Jenny (Vince) Landry and Kelly (Ken) Reddy; his grandsons, Adam, Nicholas, Kyle, and Trevor Wellbrock; and many cherished nieces and nephews and beloved lifelong friends.
In accordance with Roger’s wishes, no formal services will be held. His family and friends will remember him fondly and cherish the memories of a life well-lived

When I first met Roger I was intimidated by this tall man with a deep voice and an air of self assurance. However, over the years I came to admire him as a man who lived his life the same way he played golf, with honesty and integrity. I am proud he considered me a friend. He will live forever in the memories of those who loved him.

Soon after Roger came to Harper’s Station, he became a dear friend of mine, spending a lot of time together playing cards, Mahjong, and sharing our life stories. I miss him greatly. Please know that Roger will always remain in my thoughts. My deepest condolences are with the family.

I had the priviledge of meeting Roger in 1978 in Germany at Senelager Golf Club. We quickly became friends and played golf together most weekends. Then Roger and Diane invited me to stay with them on the weekends rather than driving to the course each day, as long as I brought American Bacon. This was Roger's guilty pleasure and not available on the German economy. It hurts me that I was out of contact for an extended period of time, but I am very happy I got to see him this past summer, although brief as it was. It was my pleasure to have met Roger and call him a friend. He will be missed.
