Rosemarie Gonzalez Marshall, a cherished soul and beloved member of her family, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, in Williamsburg, Virginia, at the age of 79. Born on October 8, 1946, in New York City, New York, Rosemarie lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and dedication to those she loved.
A proud graduate of Newtown High School in New York City, Rosemarie went on to build a fulfilling career as a medical receptionist, where she was known for her professionalism and compassion. After retiring, she enjoyed spending her time solving puzzles and exploring new places through her love of travel.
Rosemarie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert J. Marshall; her parents, Frank and Elizabeth Malloy Gonzalez; her sisters, Barbara Mooney, Frances Mooney, and Elizabeth Petito; and her brothers-in-law, John Mooney, James Mooney, and Michael Petito.
She is survived by her loving brother, Frank Gonzalez, and his wife Denise; her devoted niece, Nicole Keys, and her husband Erik, along with their sons, Hudson and Cayden; her stepdaughter, Amy Colafrancesco, and her husband Rocco, and their children, Stephen, Holly, and Rocco, as well as her great-granddaughter, Lily; her stepson, Tim Marshall, and his wife Anne, and their son Shane; and her dear cousin, Florence Gonzalez. Rosemarie’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In accordance with Rosemarie’s wishes, there will be no services held. Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories of her gentle spirit and the love she shared with them throughout her life.
