Ruth Dolores Class Bradberry passed away on July 26^th, 2024. A Native of Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of Howard & Harriet Class

She proudly served in the United States Marine Corps where she met her husband, Joe.

In retirement she was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, chair yoga & traveling with her sister, shopping, fashion visiting with friends and monthly luncheon with the Retired Marine Corps Officer’s Wives.

Left to cherish her memory her devoted daughter Lea (Jim Goodman) treasured grandsons, Grant (Lexi), Jared (Maya White). Precious great grandsons Jaxen Zayn (Mom Deborah) and Ace Ryan. Her nephews Robert Marlo & James Craft and family, Sister-in-law Marge Class & family. Special Cousin Jo Ann Miley of AZ. Along with some very dear friends Kerry & family, Josie, Shelia and Romona.

She is preceded in passing by her husband, Marine LT. Col Joe Bradberry, Son Joe Jr. brother Howard Class and her great grandson Liam James.

Ruth was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Norfolk SPCA or Christ Lutheran Church-6510 N. Military Hwy, Norfolk VA 23518 or charity of your choice.

Honoring Ruth’s request there will be no public service. Ruth outlived most of her close friends & felt it would be a burden to ask those to attend a funeral, so she decided not to have one.

We have had many deaths in the family – ENJOY LIFE!!
