She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward Marz, her parents William and Madeleine (Waite) Webb, and her brother Richard Webb. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Beth Marz Johnson, her husband Jim; her son Bryan Edward Marz, his wife, Aylin; her brother William Webb, Jr; and her loving grandchildren Melanie Brooks, her husband, William; Christie Johnson, and Colton Marz.
Shirley retired as a registered nurse from Sentara Leigh. She was a longtime faithful member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, and was known for her kindness and generosity.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb 2, 2018 at 2:00pm at St. Peter’s Church, 224 S. Military Hwy, Norfolk, VA 23502; a reception will follow in the church social hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
