Barry and I attended worship together at the Va Beach Community Chapel in the 80's. He was a fine individual with a great sense of humor and cared deeply about others. I always knew him to be a willing servant of our Lord Jesus.

Thales was a dedicated volunteer at Virginia MOCA, giving generously of his time and spirit at the Boardwalk Art Show. He cared deeply about supporting his community and was a steady, welcoming presence for both staff and fellow volunteers. His kindness, reliability, and willingness to help wherever needed made a lasting impact on everyone who worked alongside him. Thales will be truly missed by the Virginia MOCA family, and we are grateful for the many ways he contributed to the museum and the community he loved.

I find it hard to express how sad I am about his death. Barry loved his sister very much and when she was in her last days of life Barry flew from Virginia to Washington so he could be with her, that made Barbara Ann so happy to see him. They were able to spend several days laughing and reminiscing about growing up together. Now they are again together and waiting for the rest of us that have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. WHAT A REUNION THAT WILL BE.
