On November 12, 2020 God sent a host of heavenly angels to escort the soul of Timothy F. Hayes, 51, back to his Father.
From his earliest years, Tim had an interest in plants and gardening, working with his mother in her home garden. God blessed him with an exceptional mind and talent demonstrated by his experience and knowledge of Horticulture, which he studied his entire life. With his love of plants and flowers, he had the ability to make the world a beautiful place. Many people relied on him for his expertise.
Tim had a soft heart for birds and small animals especially for his mother’s Japanese Chin, Obi. He was a naturalist, spiritually drawn to the ocean, mountains and forests. For the last 20 years he battled End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). A transplant he received in 2010 failed in 2020.
He is survived by his mother, Madeline Merritt, and his sister, Jennifer Hayes, of Virginia Beach, VA.
