Tony D. Cowan, 56, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. At this time, the Pittsburgh Steelers lost their greatest fan.

Born in Florida, Tony lived most of his life in Virginia. In addition to football, he loved to fish. He was self-employed as a residential and commercial painter.

Tony was preceded in death by his grandmother, who he called “Mom” and David Austin.

Left to cherish his many memories are his mother, Judy Brensinger and her husband, Glenn; daughter, Nicole; son, Tony, Jr.; his companion of 23 years, Margaret Kettler; his brother, Mark; sister, Pamela; three grandchildren, Jonathon, Dontrey and Staphon and stepson, Eric. Tony also left behind many friends to remember him. He will be greatly missed by all.

sorry for the loss of your Awesome son Father Grandfather and companion. I will never forget his big beautiful smile and his way of always making you laugh no matter how bad he was feeling. and our late night talks about our Lord. Tony was a sweet loving caring man who will be missed by many many people now you are with all your love ones who went home before you" I know you are there telling them all the story of how you came home and how everyone was acting standing around your bed . I know you were telling it in a way that had everyone rolling over in laughter .Love you always and will miss your beautiful care free smile and laugh. I can just see you setting on Gods lap telling him all about your stay here on earth and God laughing at what you are telling Him. love you God Bless all your loves ones here on earth
