Tracy moved around a lot as a kid, she was a navy brat. She graduated from Mauston High School, in Wisconsin in 1985. Tracy met the love of her life, Robert Burnette in 1989. Tracy and Rob married Jan 30th 1992. Left to cherish her memory her husband Rob of 30 yrs, her 3 daughters and son, Lynne, Rob Jr, Kari, & Predeceased daughter Kayla, and 9 grandchildren. She is also survived by her 5 siblings Gina, Larry, Sherrie, Brian, and Lisa (and their significant others).

Tracy worked at Food lion for over 2 decades as a scan analyst. She had a passion for camping, crocheting, coloring and working on puzzles, clogging with Virgina Fancy Feet for 18+ years, she loved to cook and spend as much time as she could with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at Alexander Baptist Church at 4316 Pamela Ct, Chesapeake VA 23321. In lieu of flowers, make contributions to the American Cancer Society in Tracy’s honor!

I was sad to hear of my cousin’s passing and want to send all of you my deepest condolences. Even though our families had grown so far apart, our Grandma Baker would keep in touch with Tracy and would give me updates and show me pictures that Tracy would send. Grandma Baker has been gone for 20 years now, so Facebook has provided that same glimpse into her/your life. I reflect today on the joy she gave Grandma when she’d write and it makes me smile, knowing that Grandma held her close even if she didn’t get to see her. May you all find peace in knowing that she is no longer battling. My heart and prayers go out to you! God bless you and keep you Christina - daughter of Carolyn (Cindy’s sister)
