Wade Moore Lambert, 92, passed away May 3, 2023.  Wade was born in Elkins, WV to Mason Virgil Lambert and Josie Marie (Judy) Lambert. Wade was preceded in his death by his parents, his wife of 50 years, Lucille Lorraine (Boso) Lambert, Brother, Hector Harvey Lambert and Sister, Naomi Mellert.

Wade served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean War at Kirtland AFB, NM. After leaving the Service he worked in the Dairy business, and then began his own Brokerage business representing many National companies and supplying companies like 7-11 and Disneyworld, to name a few.  Later he and his wife opened a successful Bed and Breakfast in Toccoa, Georgia.

Survivors left to cherish his memory are his son, Sidney A. Lambert; daughter, Melody (Lambert) Fortune; grandchildren; Jonathan Wade Fortune, Brandi Anne Salvato, Candice Lynn Dodson; great grandchildren, Tyler Taeusch, Bryant Taeusch, Zachary Blanks, Kieran Blanks, Zoe Gabrielle Fortune, James Savell III, and Cheyenne Lynn Williams; great-great grandchildren, Michael Taeush and Willow Rose Pellerito; and numerous nieces and nephews.

No Memorial service will be held per Mr. Lambert’s request. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the charity of choice.  Cremation Society of Virginia is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed to www.vacremationsociety.com.
