Pat, Carol and I send our condolences on your loss. Bo was a great man in many ways and a blessing to us all. I learned much from him as we shared a few challenges together at FPC. His kindness and patience were tried on several occasions as were mine, but we shared notes and I like to think God worked through us to accomplish his will. We will miss him, but we rest assured we will see him again. May God bless you with His peace and comfort. Most sincerely, Rich Engel

Pat and family, you have my deepest sympathy. I taught with you, Jack and Paula Abbott at what was then known as Truitt Jr. High School in Chesapeake. I recall that at that time, Bo was playing football at my alma mater, Norfolk State College (now University). My name at that time was Muriel Perkins, and I was Nancy Moore’s student teacher before I was hired as a full- time teacher there. I do recall your excitement about Bo’s experience as a college football player! Again, you and your family have my deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband and your daughters’ father.

My condolences!! Coach Ludwig was a great man and I had the privilege of playing for him for 4 years at Green Run. Yes, we didn’t win a game but what’s more important are the lessons he taught me, that I utilize today and with my own children/young athletes. You will be missed Coach.
