“Teddy” was born and raised in Chesapeake, VA.
A 3rd generation member of the International Longshoremen Association.
Born to William Claire Sechrist and Peggy Marie Worthington
Sechrist. He lived in Virginia Beach with his wife and step daughter. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Sechrist, wife Tina and stepdaughter, Shaunna Cross. His sister’s, Shelia Burr of Clinton, NC and Penny Lincoln of Currituck, NC. His nephews and niece,
Patrick Burr, Addie Sizemore, Tyler Normand and
Spencer Normand. Great nephew, Carter Sizemore and great neice, Sophia Grace Sizemore.
Teddy was a fun and loving husband, son, brother and Uncle. He will be sorely missed by many friends, co-workers and family.

I just learned of this news and am deeply saddened! Please know that I am praying for each and everyone during this very difficult time. I love you Ms Peggy, Shelia and Penny!!! I’m so very sorry for the families loss and grief. I just learned of his passing from friends just leaving the service. I was simply heartbroken. He was a good guy and kind hearted. He will be missed.

I was very sad to hear of Teddy’s passing. I have so many great memories ever since we played football together on the Rams in Pee-wee football. Teddy was as tough as they come. I will be praying for the entire family and the host of friends that mourn his loss.

My childhood best friend I remember the day you were born and came home from the hospital I lived across the street from you and me and my mom walked across the road to meet you. We grew together for 15 years and we moved away but I never forgot you and all the things we did growing up. I have missed you every since we moved away and always thought we would run together again in life but we didn't get the chance. I have always missed you and I will always think of you as a brother R.I.P. little brother, I love you.
