Continue ReadingA. Lillian Sindlinger, 91 who resided at Lynnhaven Cove Apts. died on Monday, January 25, 2016. Lill was born in Pittsburgh, PA. She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Sindlinger. She was a church organist in Florida for 25 years. After she and Bill retired to VA, she was a substitute organist for the churches they attended. Lill also played the piano for the Beach Tones in Virginia Beach for several years. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Lee and her husband Don of Virginia Beach; son Bob and wife Sandy of FL, and son Bill and wife of TN; granddaughter Jennifer Cowell and great-grandson Eric Cowell of Virginia Beach; and a grandson, granddaughter and four great-granddaughters of TN.
A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Nimmo United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in memory of Mrs. Sindlinger to the Green Run High School NJROTC Unit or to the Virginia Beach SPCA. Cremation Society of Virginia, Hampton Roads Office is handling arrangements.
