Agnes volunteered at Church of the Ascension – Food Pantry & Funeral Ministry. For those of us so blessed to know Agnes, we know that her life centered around a kind word, gesture of giving, or prayer to all of her family, friends, neighbors or anyone she happened to pass along the way.
She was the loving mother of six children, W. Walter Engle and fiancé Ann, Jackie and husband Jack, Bruce and wife Amy, Heidi, Jill and husband Chris, Eric and wife Karen; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am Friday, July 31 at Church of the Ascension, 4853 Princess Anne Rd. Bright-colored attire requested. Cremation Society of Virginia, Hampton Roads office is assisting the family.
