Alberto “Albert” Rincon, born on October 12, 1966, in Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, in Suffolk, Virginia, surrounded by his family, at the age of 59. Albert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many with his warmth and kindness.
Albert was the cherished son of the late Tiburcio Rincon and Maria Genoveva Ribera Rincon. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Rincon. Albert’s legacy continues through his loving wife, Heidi Ann Rincon, with whom he shared a passion for golf—a game she lovingly taught him. His memory will be forever treasured by his daughter, Amanda Jones, and her husband Dustin; his son, Adam Rincon, and his wife Erin; and his three adored grandchildren, Parker Jones, Camden, and Logan Rincon.
Albert is also survived by his two brothers, Oscar and Joe Rincon, and his two sisters, Delia Ortega and Maria Noriega, along with several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember their uncle’s gentle spirit and unwavering support.
A big part of Albert’s life was owning and operating The Box Factory in Mineral Wells, TX, alongside his wife Heidi. Albert enjoyed running their Christmas store where he got to meet many people who became more than customers but friends as well. Albert was a man of faith, attending Lutheran services throughout his life.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Texas to honor Albert’s memory. The Cremation Society of Virginia, Chesapeake Office, is assisting the family during this difficult time. Friends and family are invited to share online condolences and memories at www.vacremationsociety.com.
Albert’s presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
