Allan G. Verzinskie, a long time resident of Virginia Beach, passed from this world Aug. 19, 2010. Left to Cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Rita Verzinskie; daughter, Cathy Verzinskie; grandsons, Randy & Tony; brother, Lee and his wife Grace; nephews, Scott & Jim; niece, Mary Alice; unofficial grandson, Will Millikan; buddies, Jim, Mark and friends of Bill.
Allan was a retired Vietnam Veteran, US Navy HM1. He was a member of fleet Reserve #99.

I miss you grandpa

Thank you for helping me Allan. And thanks for your generosity to the countless numbers of those who still suffer. You are a good spirit and we will always remember the lessons you taught us about how to get along in the world.

Allen was one of the first people who I met at Straight Shooters on Thursday nights His presence was always a comfort to me. He helped a lot of people. He will be missed, but not forgotten!

You will be remembered for all who you helped. I was one of them. Fair winds an following seas. Thanks Allen

My sympathies to the family. And Allan, thanks for all you did to help others, and for being a great example. You'll be missed.

I know I am a better person for knowing Mr. Allan Verzinskie. He walked the walk and never turned away from those whome he could share his friendship. Allan demonstrated unconditional love on a daily basis. He had the uncanny ability to not just do the next right thing but to teach others to do the same. I will miss his company, and cherish the memories he left with me.

My prayers are with your family, Mrs Verzinskie. May God's love surround you like rain.
