Amy Caroline Finch Galloway, born on December 22, 1968, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the age of 55. Amy was known for her vibrant personality, strong love for animals, and a passion for life. She had a special fondness for dogs, enjoyed rocking out to Aerosmith, and driving fast cars. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.
Amy’s faith in God guided her throughout life, and she is now at peace in heaven, reunited with loved ones. Her quick wit, sense of humor, and caring heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in the hearts of those she touched, offering comfort in the knowledge that she is now at rest with her Lord.
Amy was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Earl Finch Jr.; her grandmother, Icie Pearl Lamm Finch; her grandfather, Raymond Earl Finch; her grandfather, Hubert Bissette; her grandmother, Beatrice Wall Bissette; her aunt, LaVerne Bissette Hill; and her uncle, W. R. Hill.
Amy is survived by her mother, Phyllis Shuler (Howard); and dog Jorge; stepmother, Louise Strickland Finch; her sister, Heather Louise Finch; her brother, Wade Raymond Finch (Jen); her partner and love Tommy Womack. She is also survived by her aunt, Jane Flowers Finch (Ashley Story); Uncle Linwood Bissette (Della) and first cousins, Robin Batts (Keith); Holly Strickland (Steve); Sterling Kane (Bryan); Hampton Story (Grace); Savannah Jane Story; Kim Moody and Lin Bissette (Maria). Additionally, she leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and numerous great cousins.
She meets Jake and Madie at the rainbow bridge.
