Virginia Beach – Ann M. Stephenson, 66, passed away on Sunday February 19, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Pinehurst, NC to the late Marvin and Margaret Crabtree.
Ann married her husband of 48 years, Carl D Stephenson Sr., and they travelled the country for 22 years as a naval family. While raising two children, Ann also enjoyed a distinguished career in banking and financing. She enjoyed scouting countless craft shows, shopping endlessly on QVC and spoiling her 3 fur babies. She also enjoyed spending her time with her 4 beautiful grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Carl (Buddy) Stephenson Sr., son Dennis Stephenson, daughter Toni Michelle Stephenson, and grandchildren Taylor, Kelby, Madison and Noah Stephenson. Along with her extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 25, 2017 3pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home on 5792 Greenwich Rd. Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Cremation Society of Virginia is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed to vacremationsociety.com.
