Ann Priester Dugan
Virginia Beach – Ann Priester Dugan, 79, of Virginia Beach, VA died peacefully on September 30, 2017, with her husband by her side.
A true southern belle born in Charleston, SC, on February 12, 1938, she is preceded in death by her parents John and Grace Priester. She became a devoted Navy wife in 1959 when she married the love of her life of 58 years John P. Dugan, Jr. Their military deployments took them to San Juan, Puerto Rico, Yokosuka, Japan and Rome, Italy. They returned to the United States and Virginia Beach in 1976 where Ann completed her associate’s degree from TCC and continued her career with the Civil Service until she retired as a Resource Analyst in April of 1998.
Ann loved crafting and gardening.
Ann is survived by her husband, John P. Dugan, Jr.; three children, John (Wanda) Dugan III of Forest City, NC; Donna (David) Johannesen of Virginia Beach; and Michael (Kris) Dugan of Lee’s Summit, MO; seven grandchildren, Nicole (Jenn) Johannesen, Amanda Johannesen and fiancé Chris Dowling, Candace (Dustin) Rice, Ché (Justin) Jones, John Dugan IV, Matthew Dugan and Connor Dugan; and five great-grandchildren Clayton, Kayden, Skylar, Blake, and Kinslee.
