Ann Marie Marsh, 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Ann Marie was born on June 28, 1949 in Boston, Massachusetts to Addolorata “Dora” (Tarallo) & Antonio “Tony” Berlinghieri. Her family moved from Boston’s West End to Somerville and then to Medford where she grew up with two sisters, Angela and Frances “Frannie”, along with many close cousins. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time at the beach, and cooking and enjoying delicious food. She was known by many for her eggplant parmesan that was adapted from several family recipes. She also spent many years swimming at the pool with friends. She was known for her infectious smile, her endearing sense of humor, and her love of life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ted; her in-laws, Sam & Elaine Holt; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Ruggles; son, Jeff Marsh & his wife Deanna; granddaughter, Elana Ruggles; son-in-law, Steve Ruggles; sisters, Angela Murphy & Frances Lino; nieces, Melissa Jolly & Jessica Lino; nephews, Brian Murphy & Michael Lino.
