Anne Robins Cary of Williamsburg passed away peacefully at her home on March 15.  Anne was born on October 21, 1941 to the late Rosalyn and Bernard Lee Robins.  Anne graduated from Hampton High School and attended James Madison College.  She was retired from NASA.  Anne and her twin, Patricia, spent many happy hours creating exceptional Christmas Santas, as well as beautiful and unusual knitted apparel.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter and only child, Catherine; her identical twin, Patricia Whitehead; and her nephew, Chip Hall.  She is survived by her husband, Aubrey (Buddy) Cary; granddaughter, Anna Penton, the love of her life;  her son-in-law, Jeremy Penton; and her sister, Marcia Hall (Don); brother-in-law, Allen Whitehead; nieces, Pattie Anne Drake (David), Cindy Lee Hall, and Elizabeth Whitehead; and nephews, Allen and Greg Whitehead.  Anne will be traveling to Western Australia to be interred alongside her daughter, Catherine.
