Barbara Ann Campbell-Frugard

Norfolk – Barbara Ann Campbell-Frugard, 76, passed away November 7, 2012. Born on August 12, 1936 in Harrodsburg, Ky to the late Marguerite Graham Campbell and Fred H. Campbell. Barbara moved to Norfolk in 1955 and worked at C&P Telephone Co until her son was born. She then went into hair dressing in which she owned Barbara’s Beauty Bazaar and then relocated in Virginia Beach and opened Classy Cuts. Barbara is predeceased by her son, John David Frugard and sister Betty Jo Campbell Flowers. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Roy E. Frugard and wife Lori, two grandsons, Beaux Adam Frugard and Sam Davidson; five brothers, James Graham Campbell of Apopka, FL, Harry D. Campbell Bobbie June of Norfolk, Fred R. Campbell Cecelia of Virginia Beach, Bobby Campbell of Harrodsburg, KY, William R. Campbell of Norfolk; two sisters, Janet C. Holden of Hendersonville, NC and Vicki Smith Nott Phil formerly of Norfolk, now living in Warwick, RI; and nieces, nephews and close friends. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Bayside Christian Church, 2224 Greenwell Rd. Va Bch, Va 23455 with a reception follow services. Cremation Society of Virginia is handling the arrangements.

Dear Roy and family, I just want to say how very sorry I am for your loss. I had the privilege of working with your mom at lake taylor in the rehab dept. She was a fun, sweet lady, with a great sense of humor. One day she had you bring in anti-friz lotion, as we were comparing our frizzy hair! She loved you dearly, and was so proud of you. Roy, I'm so sorry to hear about your mother's passing...I'm more sorry that I overslept, and when mom came to pick me up..it was too late to come pay my respects for such a dear woman..she was something else!! Must run in the family! Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers; I think we all know she's in a better place & out of the pain she was in. Hang in there, & I hope you're doing ok.
