Betty Faye Neuhofer, 88, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2023 after a short illness. Born in Janesville, Wisconsin, she is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Bonnie Green, and her husband of 52 years, Josef. Betty is survived by her two children, son Jeff and his wife Sheri of Virginia Beach, her daughter Bonnie and husband Dennis of Morrisville, NC and her three grandsons, Spencer, Harrison and Nikolas, who lovingly called her Nana.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 1957, Betty began a career with the Juvenile Courts in Rockford, Illinois where she served as a Juvenile Probation Officer. In 1971, the family relocated to Virginia Beach, VA. Over the next 50 years, Betty became an active member of the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club and the Kings Grant Presbyterian Women’s group. Josef and Betty spent decades traveling the world and experiencing different cultures. In between trips abroad, Betty enjoyed playing golf, fishing, gardening, cooking, and playing Mahjong and Bridge. Her greatest joy was her family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Kings Grant Presbyterian Church 745 Little Neck Road, Virginia Beach VA 23452. The family invites you to a reception in the fellowship hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to the American Lung Association.
