Born March 24,1952 in Bennettsville, SC, daughter of the late Larue and Vergie Barrentine.
Betty was a former Law Enforcement Officer and Corrections Officer. She enjoyed life to the fullest everyday. Very known throughout the county, she never met a stranger and was loved by everyone she crossed paths with.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister.
Betty is survived by additional siblings, a daughter and grandchildren.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at Tidewater Cove (Memory Care Team) and Bon Secour Hospice, for the care they gave her and treating her like family.
A memorial service will be held at a later time.
