Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother- Betty L. Ginn passed away Fri, Oct 28, 2016.
She is survived by daughters Elaine Elu, her husband Leo, Wanda Bona, her husband Jeff, & Beth Ginn; and her loving husband Tony Ginn. Her grandchildren include Josh & Ryan Ginn, Cortney Elu, Hailee Bona, Emmalee, Angelica, CJ Broach; great grandchildren Armonie Elu & Anyiah Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her son Lee Ginn.
Betty was born Feb 13, 1945 and married on Sept 28, 1963. Along with her 18 years in construction with Chesapeake Bay Contractors, Betty was the core of her family structure, the nurturing peacekeeper. That love will be missed by all. Her kindness has left a mark on everyone that knew her.
Services will be held on Wed, Nov 2nd @ Altmeyer Funeral Home, Maestas Chapel, 1801 Baltic Ave. Va Beach, VA 23451 at 2 PM. The family will receive guests after the service at her daughter’s house- 5413 Sir Barton Dr. Va Beach, Va 23462.

My thoughts and prayers to your family during this difficult time! I am so sorry I will not be able to attend the service today. I have such great memories of your mom and family,she was always so sweet and fun!!! Hugs and love to you all!

Dear Mom this morning over coffee i found it hard not to cry knowing you were gone. If only we had a little more time. I as many will regret not making more time in my life, just to spend time with you , laughing and enjoying the love you gave unconditionally to all. You took me in as one of your own when I was very young. You might not have realized the effect you had on me and the way I learned to love. You had the kindest heart I have ever came across, and to have learned from that I thank you. You will truly be missed every day of my life.
