Beverly Lexell passed away peacefully on January 26, 2011 at the age of 85. Beverly is survived by four children – Roger Lexell, Sally Cheney, Deanna Dugan, and Melissa Thomas, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren – who were always reminded “you wouldn’t be here if I never asked that man to skate!” That man – Roger Lexell, Beverly’s husband of 55 years, passed away in 1997. Beverly loved Sandbridge Beach, reading, crossword puzzles, swimming, and mostly, her family. The family will celebrate her life at a memorial service in May on the day of her birth.
