Bev has a generous, gracious and kind soul. Though her physical presence will be missed and grieved I know that her spirit lives on throughout eternity and somewhere, someone is the new recipient of her generosity, graciousness and kindness. My memories will sustain me. Barely. My sincerest wishes to her family and to my friend Dianna who shared sisterhood with Bev.

Judy Farrar Nicholson left a message on November 11, 2014:
Bev Clayton was my friend and my mentor. She taught by example, corrected with humor, praised with love. She always stood for the seven principles of the Red Cross, exemplifying everything that is good about the work we do. Her love for what we stood for, why we do what we do and her commitment to trying to ensure we keep doing it to the very best of our abilities was extraordinary and I for one will try my best to continue in that vein. My tears are because I'm so very sad she is not on this earth any more but I will always be happy knowing that she was in my life. Peace be with you my friend and with all who love her.
