I worked in law enforcement in Norfolk and unfortunately ran into Mr. Miller on a bad day. He had a troubled life- but we took him to the hospital, and while he sobered up, we had a very nice conversation about his life growing up on a dairy farm in Butler County, PA. I remember to this day he said something very specific- ' You will never in your life have a better glass of milk then when the cream is still floating. Noone ever has real fresh milk these days'. I know that's not like a touching memory, and I didn't ever know him personally, but he was a human being that deserved a better life and it made me extremely sad to see that not only he has passed on, but that there was no record of his family. He wasn't a bad person. He just had problems like the rest of us and I pray he is resting in eternal peace with God.

Blaine was a gentle soul - I miss his presence in the neighborhood. He couldn't hear worth a lick - but was always kind. God in heaven, please watch out for Blaine.
