His memory lives on through his devoted wife, Courtney Kappers; daughter, Blake Elizabeth, parents; Mel and Gretchen Allmond, Ron Kappers, father and brother, Brock Kappers.
Blake was a handsome, energetic, and funny guy who could light up a room with his smile. Blake’s passions were his family and Croatan. He graduated from First Colonial High School in 2001 and was a member of Kings Grant Presbyterian Church.
A celebration of his life will be held at Kings Grant Presbyterian Church on Saturday, August 1st, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to either the Blake Elizabeth Kappers trust or Root and Wings Campaign at macwoods.org/rwc/donate.html
