Bobby Wayne Dun peacefully passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019. Although born in Greensboro, NC, he had been a resident of Hampton and Newport News area since he was a child. Bobby loved and enjoyed life to the fullest. His passions were building and racing muscle cars and he also loved riding the many motorcycles he once owned. He was an avid Billiards player, where he won numerous tournaments and awards for his excellent playing and sportsmanship.

Bobby was a professional painter by trade. He was lead foreman for several large contractors in the area. He loved the work he performed and was respected for his hard work and dedication.

Left to cherish his memories is his son, Jeff W. Dunn (Sandra Pilgreen Dunn); three grandchildren, Justyn, Sarah and Austin; four great-grandchildren, Rylee, Gabriella, Ava and Madeline and sister, Julia Easter.

Jeff would personally like to give a special thanks to his loving wife, Sandra and his aunt, Julia for being by the family’s side during this difficult moment. Also a special thank you to the wonderful staff of the Hospice House of Williamsburg for their outstanding professionalism, love and compassion for Bobby in his final days. They are truly a wonderful organization.

Cremation Society of Virginia-Newport News assisted the family with their arrangements.
